Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was quiet and peaceful with a hint of cigarette smoke in the air. It was a little cold on arrival, but considering today's energy crisis, that's totally understandable. The rooms needed vacuuming before breakfast.
The hotel had a shabby and tired feel to it, but the room I stayed in had a lovely view across the valley, a spacious bathroom, and plenty of hot water and fluffy towels. The service was exceptional, with staff going above and beyond to meet our needs, including arranging transport for us. The location was beautiful with lovely gardens and close to many dining options. The dining experience was fabulous with a great choice of delicious food. The hotel facilities were top-notch, making for a pleasant stay overall.
The hotel provided a mixed experience with clean and comfortable rooms but some minor inconveniences. The staff were excellent, but dining had its flaws. The location was good overall, offering some positives and negatives.
